I am a Senior Lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Worcester (UK) where I have been working for the past five years. I am currently the Subject Leader for Media and Cultural Studies.
I have been a visiting lecturer at a number of institutions including Birmingham University.
I gained my PhD in Sociology and Social Anthropology from the University of Hull in 1999 University of Hull. This focused on the influence of television commercials on Indian culture.
I gained my Master's Degree also from the University of Hull (1994) and this focused on television in Belize
I have also conducted research for various organisations using a variety of research methods including focus groups, questionniares and interiews and participant observation.
