Welcome to the site of Dr. Barbara Mitra based at the University of Worcester in the UK.

Much of the information on this site is based on my current research which looks at television commercials and children of primary school age with regards to gender. This research is being conducted with Jenny Lewin-Jones. (Please note that all names of parents and children have been changed to protect anonymity).

I would also really like to have your comments - what do you think about television commercials. You can comment on any of our preliminary findings here.
